Sustainability

Responsible production has been part of Brüsch's DNA longer than it has been a requirement.

Since 1996

Formalised and independently assessed

As early as 1996, the company received environmental approval from Rødovre Municipality and was recognised with an environmental award, at a time when this was far from industry standard.

Today, that commitment is formalised and independently assessed. Brüsch holds the Klimaklar diploma under the "Climate-fit Manufacturing Company" programme, recognising the company's work in mapping and reducing the climate footprint of its production.

Brüsch also holds Ecovadis Committed status, most recently reassessed in July 2026. The assessment covers environment, labour and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement, the four pillars increasingly required by customers across MedTech, Space and Defence supply chains.

LEAN by design

Resource efficiency in daily production

As an embedded LEAN manufacturer, resource efficiency is also built directly into daily production. Metal chips are collected and recycled, cutting fluids and oils are reused and reprocessed rather than discarded, and incoming packaging materials, including cardboard boxes received from suppliers, are reused internally wherever possible.

Waste sorting is implemented throughout the facility, and optimised setup times combined with a minimum-viable-stock philosophy further reduce unnecessary material consumption.

Certificates and assessment documentation are available on request.
