Brüsch operates seven multitasking CNC turning centres primarily across its Nakamura and Okuma platforms, with an eighth, a Nakamura WY100, currently on order. Multitasking combines turning, milling, drilling, threading and additional operations in a single setup, eliminating the handling, fixturing and potential for error that accumulates when complex parts move between machines.

Multitasking is the natural choice for components where milling demands equal or exceed turning requirements, or where materials demand rigid, stable cutting conditions. Brüsch routinely processes Inconel 718, Inconel 625, hardened steel and stainless steel 1.4542 on these machines, materials where tool engagement, heat management and process control are critical. Brass components are also produced here where complexity warrants it.

Given the complexity of parts and materials involved, the multitasking department operates with a dedicated three-person team on night shift, ensuring process oversight and intervention capability around the clock.
